New Brunswick Now Offers an Electric Vehicle Incentive : Environment and Climate Change Minister Gary Crossman; Natural Resources and Energy Development Minister Mike Holland; Jon Brawn, treasurer of the New Brunswick Automobile Dealers’ Association; and Keith Cronkhite, president and CEO of NB Power.
New Brunswick now has its own incentive program for the purchase of an electric vehicle. The rebate amount is $5,000, which comes on top of the $5,000 incentive offered by the federal government for a total reduction on the purchase price of eligible vehicles to $10,000.
