3rd place: 2022 Hyundai Kona Essential AWD $23,999 + $1,825 (T&P)
Despite the many points it has in common with the Kia Seltos, the Hyundai Kona is different in one great respect: it’s priced lower, by just over $1,500. Where the Kona loses a few points, however, is in its interior volume. The Kona is not as roomy in the back as the Seltos, simple as that.
Know that while the Essential variant sits at the bottom of the Kona lineup, the equipment included is still pretty comprehensive. Because that’s just the Korean way, in the automotive domain!
