Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator gets the American manufacturer back into the pickup game after 26 years away. With a four-wheel-drive system as standard equipment and a choice of 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission, the Gladiator is clearly designed to conquer any terrain. In off-road mode, it can tow up to 7,600 lbs.
The first models to hit the market will be powered by a 3.6L Pentastar V6 generating 285 hp. In 2020, Jeep will add a 3.0L diesel-powered V6 with an output of 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque; it will only be matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator can be had in the following trims: Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon. All of these should be appearing at dealerships in spring 2019; for the moment we haven’t gotten any announcement concerning pricing.
