Toyota

Both the popular Prius sedan and RAV4 crossover get PHEV variants, although note that Toyota just recently changed the names on its plug-in models. The Primes have become the PHEVs, officially.
The RAV4 PHEV (formerly RAV4 Prime) is one of the most powerful vehicles Toyota makes, with a combined power output of 302 hp.
The Prius PHEV (formerly Prius Prime) is no slouch either - it’s good for 220 hp, making it the most powerful Prius variant in the lineup. Add a smooth ride and spacious interior (that gives up very little in terms of space to the Prius hybrid), and you have a popular entrant in the PHEV world.

- - Toyota RAV4 PHEV electric range: 68 km
Volvo
Volvo was one of the first manufacturers to make the claim it would be reaching full electrification in the near future, and so far it has (mostly) stayed on track to make that claim reality.
For 2024, Volvo offers a total of five PHEV models: the XC90 SUV, XC60 crossover, S90 sedan, S60 sedan and V60 station wagon. In the case of the S60/V60 models there’s even a Polestar Engineered performance variant that provides adjustable Ohlins dampers, special wheels and up to 415 hp.
- - Volvo XC90/60 electric range: 58 km
- - Volvo S90/S60/V60 electric range: 61 km
