NHTSA Takes Next Step in Investigating Hyundai-Kia Engine Fires

The NHTSA has opened what it calls an “engineering analysis” to look deeper into issues that have caused a number of engine fires in Hyundai and Kia vehicles in recent years. From this, the agency could decide a large-scale recall is warranted, which could affect some 3 million vehicles.
