In a complete contrast with the lunacy surrounding the birth of an electric SUV carrying the Mustang and Mach names, in the case of the Bronco, reaction has pretty universally positive among Ford fans. One big reason for this, of course, is that the essence of the new model hews pretty closely to that of the original one that first launched in 1966.

In fact, Ford made a very deliberate effort to come up with a design inspired by the past. From where we – and many others – sit, the result is very appealing. While the new Bronco has been bedeviled with certain quality issues in its infancy, the future still looks pretty bright for the retro-futuristic SUV.
