The 2018 World Car Awards will be handed out in a number of categories on March 28 during the New York International Auto Show. The jury of 82 automotive journalists recently announced its long list of semi-finalists in each of the categories.

As for the World Design award for 2018, all of the models listed above will be eligible, in addition to the BMW i8 and Lamborghini Urus.
A second round of voting for the 2018 World Car Awards is currently underway, with votes to be submitted by February 13. Prior to the naming of the top winners in each category in New York this spring, the top three finalists in all categories will be announced in Geneva in early March.
