The next BMW 2 Series will keep rear-wheel drive
The next-generation BMW 2 Series, which was to have gotten the 1 Series’ new FWD architecture, will hold on to a rear-wheel drive system after all. For Klaus Frohlich, head of product development at BMW, it was a question of recalling that the 2 Series is above all a driver’s car.
