BMW closes door on producing pickup

BMW’s head of product development, Klaus Frohlich, has confirmed that BMW will not be going ahead with any plan to develop a luxury pickup truck. This leaves Mercedes-Benz all by its lonesome in the category with its year-old X-Class truck.
