Ford’s Series of Recalls Cost it $4 Billion in Warranty Costs in 2021 : Interior of the 2022 Ford Maverick

Sales are strong, stocks values are up, but all is not smooth sailing for Ford, which has had to deal with a slew of quality issues on its new and revised models in the last year or two. In 2021, the company had to put aside $4 billion in warranty costs, and this past July, it issued no fewer than 46 separate recalls.
