Goodbye diesel, hello electric for Cadillac : 2019 Cadillac XT4
Cadillac is applying the brakes to the development process for a diesel engine, and will focus on electric mobility in the coming years. The brand-new XT4 crossover was supposed to get a diesel engine, but that fell by the wayside. Diesel technology won’t be abandoned completely, but its future at Cadillac will depend on demand.
