General Motors has announced it is opening the order book for the Cadillac Lyriq all-electric SUV, set to debut in autumn 2022. That’s a long way off and most of the future EV’s direct rivals have themselves mostly not debuted yet either, so we’ll see how committed early buyers are ready to be at this stage.
